The glow on the icon itself is to much - what are you trying to achieve here?
The angle of the glare is also a bit odd to me, I would make it around + - 45, so that it doesnt take up to much space.
Also the frame is a bit weird, when doing this kind of style, it always helps me to think about depth. What do I want to achieve? Do I want to make it stick out or in?
In this case, maybe you want the frame to stick out, and everything else in, in that case you want a 1px hightlight at the bottom(or at the bottom top of the frame) and some shadow at the top (top bottom).
@Anders Drage hello, and thanks for for the feedback and the follow! :-) very much appreciated. im very new at this app icon designing thing, so there is definitely room for improvement.
about the glow - i wanted it to look like a real light, and not just some kind of photoshop effect. kind of like here; http://dribbble.com/shots/572729-Switch but im not very skilled at this yet :-)
thanks for the tip on the angle of the glare aswell, i agree that it could be improved.
the frame for me is one of the biggest challanges, and i was not satisfied with this frame at all. and the thing is i didnt want it to stick in or out, i just wanted it to have some kind of frame haha. :-) thanks for the tip!
