the refined mark. M+download arrow in the negative space
over 1 year ago
it's quite nice, but you can add arrows in the negative space on the bottom as well, what you think?
@Paulius Kairevičius ..would def worth a try my friend, cheers for the idea. although I'm no sure how a big serif will look there in the middle.
@Paulius Kairevičius - it has been done million times...
@Florin Capota - This version is unseen and true beauty. Reflects idea of downloading nicely.
Sure do love a sexy bit of neg space.
Clever mark! I think it's there.
yeah, nice job.
Thanks @Julius Seniūnas , yea buddy you are right just checked, that idea has been done before so pretty much this will be it then. Thanks @Matt Vergotis , @Inka Mathew , @Sean Heisler, @Colin Tierney for the nice words, glad you like it :)
Sorry, I read VM as initial. I thought it was cleverly found :)
Hi @Suzie Creamcheese , when used with type there will be no problem, although i have to disagree with seeing the V first, we could see a V inside every M then :). Thanks for dropping by
Lets agree to disagree
@Suzie Creamcheese agree on this one :)

I had the same problem as @Suzie Creamcheese, I didn't notice the arrow until it was pointed out (pun intended ;). My first guess was a monogram of mv / vm too.
It's there, but for people that don't immediately see it just looks like an out-of-balance M. Something to consider.
Hey Florin, I'm just catching up with your work lately and this jumped out at me right away. I like how it feels solid and a little quirky at the same time, with those upper slabs extending further towards the inside – highlights that arrow nicely. The overall letter seems perhaps a little flat (especially the bottom part, which feels like it could be pull lower a little bit further) but at the same time that does add to the distinctiveness.
Thanks @Claire Coullon , that was the requested feeling since the name will have "mega" as part of the word. I really wanted to put a lot of emphasize on the arrow so that is highly visible, you are right though that the bottom could go lower a tad, will give this a fresh eye after the holidays maybe :) ;
@Martin Kool in my pursuit for the negative space there i may have gone to take something from the letter, the VM (although will not be a problem in my opinion) could be solved by extending the M legs a tad lower.
