We've just soft launched our latest product, Plover! It's a photo proofing service for photographers and we think it's awesome.

Check out the live version here: http://plover.co and sign up if it sounds interesting to you :).

Gorgeous, and extremely concise can see it converting well!

Tiny detail but the lower left anchor point of the logo seems to be slightly off causing some horrible antialiasing when it scales it down.

    Thanks guys!

@Max Di Capua Yeah, I've noticed a few issues with the SVG logo we're using - may have to resort back to PNG's at some point.

This is great, Matt! Strong, but out-of-the-way design, in a space that really needs innovation. Can't wait for an invite.

@Matt Bango Yep, for some illustrations we were using SVG's, they came in much lighter than @2x PNG's. However when it came to logo, the control PNG's gave us outweighed the tiny increase in file size.

@Matt Bango Infact… and I don't want to meddle too much here but that 222kb PNG on the page can be squashed down to 80kb with no visible loss http://cl.ly/LLXc

@Max Di Capua Nice, thanks! Out of curiosity, what did you use to compress? PNGCRUSH?

@Matt Bango Nope, gave it a solid bg, then through ImageAlpha which let me drop the colours to 256, then a final squeeze through ImageOptim.

Looks great but the animation also doesn't work for moz (OSX, FFv16) Is it only viewable with webkit?

@Don Okuda Must be a bug because @Adam Roberts seems to be having the same problem. Will fix.

@Max Di Capua You can do the same through PS and get it down to 60kb..

@Matt Anderson interesting… same quality? 8bit PNG seemed a huge drop in image quality.

@Max Di Capua if you're having a solid background, make it a jpg.
