Your teacher is crazy, it looks nice. But what's this for? It looks cool and I like the lighting treatment on the 3. The blue fills (water?) on "ring" are nice as well but the whole piece doesn't really make sense to me...

It's for a circus themed chocolate bar which will make a lot more sense when you see it on the final package.
She said the ornamental blue parts I made look awkward, and should be across the bottom of all the letters, but couldn't offer any real suggestion to fix it. Made a weird remark about the "significance" of the decorative lines I have on there as well...

To be completely honest she is just pissed she isnt this good. This is perfect! I immediately thought "Circus". Sorry I can't give you any feedback...you did too good haha.

I thought of circus right away, dont know what your teacher is talking about, I would however fill in all the bottoms with the blue, it is bothering me that they arent all like that

I agree with Neil. It's really cool, but i don't get why it's not all blue on the bottom - sort of looks unfinished.

Forget the 'significance' part. It looks really cool. I would agree with the part about adding blue on the bottom of the R and the N. Feels a bit stop, start without them and disrupts the flow. Even with that added I still think it would be an interesting take on a traditional circus type treatment.

While I love this (the lighting on the 3 is sublime and the circus connection is crstyal clear) I can see what your teacher means with regards to the blue ornaments, it doesn't really work on the R or the N. The Cast Iron font does similar you may want to check out: http://www.dafont.com/cast-iron.font

I have to say i'm with your teacher on the blue ornaments. When you look at the logo from afar, it looks unfinished. I know it dosen't work with some of the letters, so I think it means you'll have to have the typo or something. But besides the blue bottoms, it's really nice!
