Finished the one of the foxes. Now I just need to start working on the little girl fox. I also attached a larger version. I real enjoy how this turned out. Lately, I have been using a lot of gradients but, it was always hard for me to incorporate it into my illustration. I'm glad it actually worked out this time! Also, this is for one of my submissions for Help Ink. Love to hear more thoughts about this new style I am exploring?
Love the subtle shading at the tip of the tail on the finished fox... also the center of gravity might be a bit off on him.. feet are out a touch too far in front... makes him look like he might tip backwards... but overall great!
Dude, this is so good! The only thing I would say would be along the lines of what @Kirk Wallace said. The highlights are too bright for me. One thing about highlights that I think of is that the only time they're actually white is when they being reflected off a mirror-type surface. Otherwise they're a brighter color of whatever the natural color is. I know I'm preaching to the choir so I'll leave it at that. NW of my favorites!

thank you for showing the process, i love this sort of stuff.
I'm happy to see you trying something new. I'm not sure how i feel about how shiny his arm right here is.
I love the folds in his tail and the crisp fold at the tip. awesome as always dude
edit: i also like the smaller version more, maybe becuase the colors are a bit different?
