Recently I was given the very fortunate opportunity to pitch an identity concept for the branding of the Gold Coast City.
After a rebrief from the first concept I had a week to come up with the next concept. Unfortunately a severe case of designers block struck me down along with a lot of client work that needed urgent attention and it wasn't until the eleventh hour that this concept came to mind.
Unfortunately I didn't get the job, but I appreciated being given the chance to digitally present my concepts.
Congratulations to the agency that won it!

Your first concept was stronger by far. Sorry to hear bud. I'm just gobsmacked at what you've come up with in such a short period of time. A bloody damn good effort I say!
Just curious, was it a GC agency that got it? Tusk, Tenfour, Smart?

@Norman Chan Thanks again mate. Suffice to say, I had to put everything on hold for that week and a half. I didn't want to leave any stones unturned. Understanding what I know now, I probably should of worked on more concepts and less solution, but that's not my style. Not sure who the other agencies are. I'm very much out of the loop when it comes to knowing who's the who's who about town.
