It needed replacing... #imho

I like the blue you implemented. Although, I feel it's too flat to fit in with other dock icons.
I do enjoy the softness of your icon. It's definitely inconsistent with other OS icons, but again OS icons are the epitome of inconsistency.
@Kerem Suer Agreed. I redesign most of the icons in my doc. I prefer the soft/flat look!
Nice work @Shaun , really dig this! :)
Downloaded. Dock looks better.
Here we go again :)
Thanks, using this:)
Nice work Shaun! I love the soft approach to icons and will be using this bad boy :)
THANKS!!!!! So much nicer

Another soft/flat variation of the iTunes icon.
Tried to maintain the color scheme based on the app UI but differentiate from other app icons on my dock (to many blue ones imho).

Nice Shaun! While it might not look like many other standard icons, it looks good next to the Chrome icon.
My try at designing the iTunes icon for fun.
What do you dribbblers think?
this is why I go with windows 8, no glossy icons with gradients I would have to replace, including the dock.
I figured I would give this a shot on a lazy saturday. I wasn't completely satisfied so I made a second. Keep in mind how many gradients, glows and general glossiness they added to iTunes 11, it seemed accurate to do the same for the icon.
Edit Link to the second.

Thank you so much. I've been meaning to make a replacement for a couple days now. You just saved me the time.
Thanks! It needed to be changed.

Well I did this icon a while ago, guessed I could give it new life with this playoff :) icon in the attachment
I've been so busy with work that I've been away from Dribbble. Nothing like an evening rebound to relax. :-)

Designed this iTunes icon based on the current color scheme of the new iTunes 11 interface.
