   Really well executed! If I had the app I'd definitely use this icon. I don't know much about Rdio so I don't know how well it represents the product, but you're using the brand pretty well here, and it looks beautiful.

    Well this icon doesn't fit Rdio at all, but that doesn't stop it from being AMAZING! So glossy, and fits right in with Mac OSX styling. Awesome work!

    Can someone tell me why this icon doesn't suit Rdio? I'm not a user myself but I've checked out the brand, website, and the mac app. This icon may not be as minimal as the general Rdio style, specifically the solid colours, but honestly I don't see anything that goes against Rdio's look. Especially considering it's a Mac OS X icon.

    It's glossy and rich because OS X icons have always been glossy and rich. When you don't follow that tradition you have app icons like Chrome and Spotify, which in my opinion are quite boring. All I see here is good use of a simple and versatile emblem.

    That said, I'm sensing that I may be wrong in at least one way. Can anyone tell me why this icon doesn't represent Rdio?

    EDIT: I've just checked out the current Rdio Mac App icon, and it's basically an iPhone icon. So... I'm quite confident in saying @Asher's is a much better fit for OS X.
