Revised concept. Got rid of the 3D effect at the bottom and changed mosaic to a 7x7 grid, to allow room for a consistent red border.

Really nice design, it's a shame the detail gets lost at smaller sizes but that's to be expected. The varying shades of red is sublime.

@Mike Hince Yeah, that's an issue we're having to come to terms with. Inevitably a lot of the detail will go unnoticed on the smaller sized screens, but I suppose that's just the nature of designing for mobile. Thanks for your comments. Much appreciated.
