The final icon that shipped with Timer by App Cubby: https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/timer/id507518845?mt=8. See the attachment for the 1:1 icon on SpringBoard, which is pretty much all that matters at the end of the day: how it looks on your home screen. The 512px (and up) icon is really just for us designers. And even then, adding hyper detail isn't necessarily the way to go as Apple will scale heavily (not to mention the detail that is consumed by the Retina device itself).
