I'm struggling to find the LDR in the left option, and I feel that the left option's line weight is a bit light. I know that's not picking either left or right, but hopefully it's helpful.
@Mike Kamanski@Luke Etheridge Thanks guys! Yea, I should have specified: if you rotate the left logo on its side clockwise, you'll see the (loose) letterforms LRD. I thought that was okay, since many monograms put the last initial in the middle. But you're right, it's more about the form than recognizing the letters.
I like the one on the left. I think if you rotated it so that it read like "LRD" and not look like some random symbol it would be awesome. Some other things that make it a little less recognizable is that the D kind of looks like a 0 because the stem isn't straight. I like the concept of the one of the left better!

Hmmm I'm seeing a folded shirt in the left one for some reason?? Like with buttons down the middle?
I like the look of the left much better but I agree that it's not obviously displaying 'LDR' - does it matter even?...
