I can't believe I'm actually doing this but here's my first ever Dribbble Rebound. I saw Daryl's shot and wanted to give it a try in a morning coffee time while watching news.
The green and orange colors shows up only if you have notifications there, otherwise slight-gray bg.
I know it doesn't fit any Twitter Guidelines, but hey, not really designing for Twitter, right? Just having fun :)
I also attached PSD, enjoy it and have look at it live in here ;)
@Oykun thanks so much for rebounding! happy that mine was the first you've ever rebounded.
I love it. All of the elements are very simple, can breathe, and each section meshes well together. The subtle notifications for messages and mentions is really cool as well. Thanks and great job.
Super clean. The colors work great together. Only piece of feedback would be to make the 'Compose New Tweet' button/link stand out a little more. It almost looks inactive. Great job though!

I like how you grouped different parts of the UI together (namely the DMs and @replies). Nice way to spend 20 minutes!

I like the aesthetic, but what happens if a user has over a 1M followers, or over 10K tweets—I think your current design becomes cramped.
I also agree the "compose new tweet" button looks inactive.
Either way, good work.

Rebound

My first rebound... rebounding is fun!
I added Mentions as a key stat because I think that's important. When a new mention is available (if such a thing exists) the @icon lights up.
DMs are shown as the blue notification bubble..
Also added location on/off and upload image to quick tweeter..
Yay!
