The previous wave felt a little closed, so I added another line at the top that I think gives dimensionality to the wave without adding a lot of unnecessary complexity. To help balance out the added weight in the top right, I included some wave "motion" to the bottom left to help convey movement. I also squished the square into a rectangle so it doesn't feel quite so fat.

Made the wave endings a bit more natural, but it feels like "iconic" this way.

Id suggest a third wave on the bottom. Not sure if Id suggest another gradient...but I think a third repetition would help.

I like this lighter version with the tighter leading. Sorry to hear it wasn't accepted, but way to keep at it nonetheless!

Finally finishing this thing off.

Nothing worse than fat squares.
