Nice! Thanks for rebounding my twitter thing. Looks like the "compose a new tweet" is meant to be separate from the rest because of the stroke around it I guess? Darker than the main area. I like the fact that you turned down the opacity/fill on it though. Sweet!

Cool message icon thing :] Now I see why you ditched the twitter icons.

Nice work! Am I imagining it though, the transparent "compose a tweet" section appears 1 px too wide on the bottom left? PLZ DNT DLT

Looks great. Not sure about the Compose area — I didn't see it as a clickable area at first.

@Cat Smith @Ben Hubbard Yeah, it's technically 1px larger on either side. Believe me, it looks much more odd if it isn't. It's to line up with the border.

It probably appears that way because of the effects of the blending options/strokes. Happens to me sometimes and I want to just never look at the design again.

@Jack Bingham yeah that was a little misleading at first because the inner shadow isnt as strong but it says compose. So you, sir, compose.

I'll quote Batman: -"Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb..."

This is a very good bomb!

    Nice.

But the "compose new tweet" looks utterly different to the rest of the UI, almost stuck on.

I really dig this one. Just one small suggestion if you don't mind. :)

Since the overall design has a bit of detail (subtle borders, etc...) I think you should do the same with the blue message button as currently it seems a bit out-of-style.

    Anyway, good work as always!

Looks too much like something @Daryl Ginn would design. Get a life, Batman.

I agree with the Jayman, the Compose feels less important than the rest. I wonder if you switched the Direct Message button style with the Compose A New Tweet button. I personally don't check my Direct Messages as often as I Compose tweets, although that's probably just because my mom is the only one who direct messages me.

Anyways, overall this is my favorite rebound on this so far. Although I'm not surprised, Batman designed it.
