Playing around with a rubber stamp design for @Dropbox's library books.

Really smart and simple
@James Hollingworth Thanks!
I like it! Have you tried making the edges of the box softer? So it looks aged?
@Herson Rodriguez Thanks Herson! Good suggestion—I thought about it, but I think that effect will come naturally when it's inked and stamped. :)
Looks awesome and such a good idea.
My only concern (and I'm no expert in rubber stamp designs) but the 2 lines at the bottom may bleed together when stamped.
I see! that makes sense. Great work :)
@Warwick Kay Thank you! That's a really good point, Warwick. I'm no expert myself—I'm actually a little worried about detail loss in the letters too. Perhaps the stamp-makers can advise!
I've seen some pretty fine stamps in my time, so I'd think your only point of conflict would be the flourishes on the bottom lines, but it would probably be a nice effect.
That said, I'm no professional Stampist. Nicely done.
I like this a lot, awesome work.
Oh wow. Gorgeous.
Also, Dropbox has a library? Sweet.
Lovely work - only tiny nitpicky thing is I'd center the space between please/return; throwing my eye off.
@Matt Kump?? Thanks! I wonder if pressing gently is enough to keep the details intact. Also, I would like to meet a professional stampist.
@Claudio Gomboli Cool. Thank you!
@Dan Eden Thanks Dan! It's a new addition, accompanying an upgraded dining space.
@Jon Gold Thanks Jon! I'll try it out.
You'd be surprised the amount of detail you can get in stamps. I think it should be fine.
@Erica Schoonmaker Finally, someone with experience! That's really good to know. Thanks Erica! :)
Beautiful. Great typographic work.
Thanks @Charles Riccardi! :)
You're more than welcome @Allison House! :)
I would love to see a rebound of when you actually stamp the first book! Would love to know what special considerations (i.e. type weight & size) one would need to keep in mind when making their own stamps!
Very retro. Very public library. Reminds me of checking out books from my elementary school library too many moons ago. lol
Great work! I am curious what type is this?
Lovely! If I may bitch, I would separate of (do some neat swash to it, or dots). I am curious about the finished stamped stamp :)

@Pavel Maček Wow, I was scared of your comment at first glance.

Here's how the stamp turned out, seen here in a book on Northwest trees!
