So I decided to rebound my original design. I realized there were certain features that weren't existent in mine.
I changed the notification tab from "@" icon to the new icon. The twitter notification tab isn't necessarily just mentions. It's all of your interactions.
Also added the mail icon to the icon bar (I liked this in the other rebounds) removed the blue light from underneath the icon and added the "Compose new tweet feature".
If I may be honest, i think i miss a little whitespace. The 4 icons have space to breath left & right but the top & bottom are a little "pressed". Same for the field where you can post your tweet. The divider lines are maybe a little too harsh? Too white, maybe make them a little softer? And maybe the settings button is a little out of balance.
Don't get me wrong, the idea is lovely! I think your old one was better in execution, but this one is more functional!
I also prefer the emboss and highlights on the previous version. They are more subtle. The island in the middle of the pencil looks very high / sharp through the highlights.
@Raquel you're right, a lot of the content cannot breathe. It was something that I thought of as soon as I did a final check. Just went with it though as a submission. Just an extra rebound. Thanks!
The spacing between the line and the count labels is large while the space between the name and top is small, it makes it look uneven. It's probably good to add some space between the name and the counts too. If you look at the whole alignment of the count and labels, none of it is equal on any side
Also add some space between the icons and the lines, it's really tight.
And the compose field needs some more space between its edges and the box it sits in.
The 'tweets' is too close to the avatar too
The icons need a bit more crispness, they look a bit blurred
The numbers and their labels don't have a white pixel drop shadow like the name and username

Loving the development of it though. :)

Much better than the initial! Only thing I would say is that icons and text field could use a little more breathing room.

Here's a bit of feedback

Hope that helps!

Yes @Murat Mutlu thank you! I definitely should have given more breathing room to the elements.
