USS Sulaco (Aliens)

   The final, final design of the 2179 USCM Insignia for the USS Sulaco. I feel like I'm beating a dead horse, but I just had to come back to this one and have finally worked on something I'm proud to display.

   The effect I was going for was that of a stamp on the side of the ship's haul. Note the burns, like the ship came into contact with a highly corrosive substance. Wonder what that could be?

   Big, big props to anyone that knows the serial at the bottom of the insignia. Seriously. Only for dyed in the wool fans of arguably Cameron's finest film ever made: Aliens: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090605/

   PS: There was a grammatical error on the previous logo, and I'm fairly certain I'm the only one that picked up a few shirts, so the old design will likely be auctioned off as a rare, one-of-a-kind if I die a famous artist.

   Thanks dude. I really made the design for a shirt, which doesn't take texture too well. But Society6 doesn't just allow shirts without prints. And the last one was really too slapped together to be worthy of Dribbble.

   I mostly credit Dash for his recent logo, whic put a fire under my ass (though mine doesn't even come close to his).
