Designing in the browser FTW! These days, I use Photoshop or any other tool to design the visual style for a particular project, not an entire project per se.
It feels so much better and your prototypes can be easily implemented using your CMS/framework of choice.
Designing in the browser certainly has it's advantages!
In fact, I only designed the homepage of my portfolio in Photoshop and then went on to design each individual page in the browser. That way, I find, you can take into account all of the effects and transitions in context.

Finally working in the browser. I design so much faster outside of Photoshop.
Early days yet, I just needed to whip something up to demo to my project supervisor.
