Dribbble Activity Tweak

Something about the relatively-new "new activity" notification that has always bothered me: Dribbble tries to continue the basketball metaphor wherever it can. Why then, does the little pink dot just appear over the activity/stats icon? I think they should move it to the little gap on the bottom of the icon, therefore making it look like the "ball" is bouncing, using the rest of the icon to show kinetics/motion.

A minor tweak, but worth mentioning, I think.

Tagging @Dribbble so somebody "upstairs" may see this. And/or perhaps explain why they put the dot above?

LOVE that thought... it's all in the details. And if they didn't want the ball to be on the "down" stroke, a simple tweaks of the stroke would solve it for good.

It's a cool idea, the bouncing ball concept/metaphor is definitely a good thing, would be good to see them implement it.

Diggin it, but I think the line weight of the original works better

@Andrew Hainen Yeah, I just took a screenshot, upscaled, and traced in Illustrator. After I uploaded I noticed it was a heavier line than the original. I wasn't trying to make any statement on the rest of the icon, only the dot.
