Mars Identity - Business Card

Planning on getting some new business cards made, but wanted to run them by the dribbble community first.

Red 'M' mark would have spot UV (gloss) to stand out, but not sure where else to apply it, if anywhere..

What if the gloss was on the background and the 'M' was matte? That way your name could have the spot gloss as well. 'Design' could have the same finish as the 'M'.

@Simon Stipp - thanks for the feedback! I definitely agree with treating the 'M' & 'Design' similarly. I wonder if it would be too much to have the majority of the card's back in gloss, otherwise I think that's a good idea too. I'll chew on it for sure.

This is great! What did you decide on?

@Zainab Aliyu Thanks so much! I just went with spot gloss on the M logo. It was a little offset, but the unintentional effect was actually a nice touch, I think. I'll take a photo soon!

  6. This was overdue, so I took a quick shot of the final printed cards.

Went with the gloss on only the circular M mark, and am very pleased with the final results. As everyone says, a photo does not do the gloss justice.
