Have always noticed that most of the mail icons have a prominent 'V' or in some cases prominent 'X'. Most of the closed envelope ones that is. So as I posted my first shot and was staring at it, I got this idea.
Tell me what you think.

@Narayan Babu - Love the idea, I think there's a tiny bid too much drop shadow at the top, for this icon to really work you need it to blend in as if it was part of the "wall" in this picture. Almost pull it off. Keep it up!

@Ty Thanks for that. Yeah. I think the drop shadow should have converged as it reached the top.
In fact the whole image has no 'fill'. Only shadows, so you put any background, the envelope would match the color :)
