We're trying to create a sub-brand for the young female audience.
We need to incorporate the Premium Choice brand and create a striking design that stands out in quite a dull market.
At the same time, it's difficult to create a style that isn't too derogatory to the female audience but the stereotypical pink and swirly style is so effective in this market.
How about going for something more pastel? Or maybe more like a purple-ish, lavender? Orange? Yellows? I don't know, this pink looks a bit too hard somehow…

i'd go for a softer pink myself - something most akin to the 'Post comment' button below

I agree - I'd defintely go for softer hues combined with neutrals so it doesn't get too cliche.
Have a look at Jo's work here: http://dribbble.com/players/thedarlingtree - she has a lovely feminine, but contemporary style.

Thanks for all the feedback guys.
I was in two minds about the stark "pink" (which almost looks purple on here) but maybe you're right going for a more elegant pastel shade instead.
I'll have a play and Rebound later.
