   Been working on an inline notification center for our top bar.

   If anyone has any good suggestions on how to avoid the stupid "Bren has added you to their friend list" without asking for a gender please shoot.

   This is nice. Clean and simple.

   I think the notification count over the bell icon could do with some more attention.

   With regard to the wording, how about "Dave added you as a friend"?
