Here's my second rework of this logo based on some of y'all's feedback and the basic need for this to be a bit more masculine. I've been dying to do a really minimal styling, but this is going to call for something a little more rich and manly, grrr. Haha.
Possible loading screen shown here on iPhone 5. Concept is a flippable developer's notepad (stacked paper/bottom of notebook at the bottom not shown).

How did you make that soft though noisy texture, just by using noise?

@Visual Idiot Similar, as similar as a regular anchor can be, but not suspicious, since I wasn't aware of your site and hadn't ever been to it. Also, the curves are much different.
