Not bad but at first glance it appears busy. Elements seem to be conflicting with each other and competing for real estate.

Know what you mean. I think that its the selection I've cropped for dribble, when viewed in 400 x 300 it does appear cramped.
Looks neater when the whole is viewed. Might give some space to the progress bar.
The error panel is thankfully only visible on post-back error. Thanks for your feedback.
