So I'm winding this project down to start getting the whole branding package ready for the client. This is the last piece of the puzzle! Word. The Final Logo Mark. Here is the sketch I will working from so any Feedback & Comments are most welcomed. I am having trouble with the "lion's head". So most likely it will look much different in the final product. Thanks in advance for all the feedback I have received already for the entire brand - hope everyone is having a blessed day!!

I like the Lion's head. Seems like a happy go luck fellow. However, I think that may be where the problem lies. Try a scowl and maybe a more blocky snout, with the line flowing to the goatee.
Also, the three-dimensionality of the anvil is conflicting with the border. You've got 2D and 3D intermixed, especially the lion's tail. It might be something that sorts itself out with higher fidelity. It also might look worse.

@David Stewart - EXACTLY - good catch on all that. I am working on the face to get that "scowl" look working. As far as the anvil / border situation, love to hear any suggestions for fixing this issue. I am not sure what to do, either way thanks for the feedback bro!! Much appreciated.
