For too long I have overcomplicated my designs, including too much of the unnecessary. I was thinking about the user but was I really 'thinking about the user'?..
My designs often distracted users with bold call to action & buttons that looked great yet pulled attention away from the user goals & I very rarely considered type properly.
Ive decided that everything I create from this point will display nothing more than the necessary. This is a step forward for me.
Your feedback is appreciated.

Really clean, looks good
Thanks @Dave trying to get the user to focus on the data rather than other elements.
Clean and neat, good job, sir :)
Clean and simple, I think the new approach is definitely working. Nice work mate.
Definitely Nathan, sometimes the best design goes unnoticed, especially when it comes to user interfaces
Good philosophy to live by and great work!
That's a great approach and I think you'll get a lot of support keeping on that path from all of us! I decided that's the approach my designs will be taking from now on too. I imagine a lot of clients out there don't understand this sort of approach, but screw them :)
