It may be just me, but I feel like I'm taller than this man, looking down to him. I'm thinking it's a combination of his sideburns' length, and the shadows' length under his hairline, chin and ears. Maybe if you brought the light source more in front of his face (rather than slightly above his head) it would make him seem taller, and therefore, more dapper. :)
@Chris I actually started years ago, pre Komodo Media v2 (currently on v4). Also, I was a manic at sketching and drawing as a kid. I used to pause old Disney movies (in the VHS day, so I had to deal with the tracking lines) and sketch what I saw. I've always adored Walt Disney and cartooning and illustration in general.

Bow chicka bow wow. I needed this illustration to be a bit less vertical/monopoly mannish.

I'm so glad you said that Konrad! Clark Gable was the inspiration.

When did you start illustrating, anyway bro? You've never really done stuff like this (and Mad Mimi) before, how did these skills develop so quickly?

Now if you could just make a handsome prince...or a knight in shinning armor with a princess! Wow, day dreaming.

@Chris really in that same stretch of time, I created all sorts of my own characters as well, not just mimicking :) So that may be where.
