I'm liking this! is it part of a larger pattern?
My only other comment is that the textured bits (bottom right) seem out of place - maybe incorporate that texture more throughout the piece?

Thanks @Jennifer Cook...This is part of a larger piece...it is going to be part of personal journal book, which I hope to print and adhere (with some hand painting and gold leafing) on craft birch 12inx12in plywood. I will be sure to post more as it develops. :)
