A lowpoly recreation of Arnold Böcklin's "ISle of the Dead". All made in Cinema 4D with minimal post work in Photoshop.
A higher res version can be found here: http://sockgardener.tumblr.com/post/35642509551
amazing work, same as the other ones :) I'm just curious though, what are the polycounts (approximately) for the water / mountains / trees respectively? I'm trying to figure out the modeling effort behind it :P
The water is 16369 polys, a bit high but the plane is huge and triangulated
The rocks are 2634 polys in total
Each tree is 1280, but could have been less

Isle Of The Dead – Sketch & Toon
by Sock Gardener
A bit of experimenting with Cinema 4d's Sketch & Toon. Quite like the comic book starkness of it.
