I'm quite up to date with front end dev, but I seem to have missed this at some point?! What's the benefit of at Data URI? Maybe an FAQ page is needed? ;)
It's used mostly for image embedding, if you have heavy traffic on your site(s) a tool like this might come in handy as it helps the images load a bit faster :)
I really like this design, I use data URI's a lot. Bookmarked and liked for future use.
One thing though, The alert window with the code is too small. I know it copied to the clipboard but I think there would be a better way of displaying that.
@Samuel Kraft Quick update about the flash. Flash is necessary to copy the code to clipboard as there is no other way around with today's browsers. We suggest you install the plugin to get it working. It's the same in all browsers unless you have flash installed.
I was getting the same screen as @Samuel Kraft before, but now it just says "duri.me is an Image URI tool it’s not really usable for mobiles. But don’t fear, enter your email below & we’ll send our link so you can check us out later!" I'm viewing in chrome/mac , maybe my flash player is not up to date?
There is no option to start over and do more pictures after you do one or two, so you have to refresh the page. I'd replace that smily face with a restart button and move copy options above because thats directly related to what you just uploaded. :)

Thank you everyone :) Glad you like it so far!
@Mike Busby I agree, it could be a bit more visible. We'll see what we can do. Thanks!
@darby k-shields It's working for me. I'm on Chrome, Mac myself & we tested it before launch. Tried clearing your cache?
@Erika van der Bent Thanks for the suggestion, definitely something I'll look into :)

@Samuel Kraft We're working adding an option to get the code normally though so hopefully we'll see an updated duri soon :)

Hmm, that's weird. I'm on Chrome/Mac myself and never encountered that. Have you tried clearing your cache and update?
The "don't fear" message should only apear if you access from mobile.
