After uploading this several times and bug-testing it I've come to a point that I've realized that a designer will never be 100% happy about their own portfolio website. But here it is, DONE!
✓ Retina Support.
✓ Fetching the latest Dribbble posts through API.
✓ Typekit fonts such as Bree & Proxima Nova.
✓ Logo made by Sean Farrell.
✓ Excessive Headlines.
I really like it. Just one thing, though. In the big element where you have your photo, you should make the DIV have 100% width, so it doesn't add horizontal scrolling to the website. Just an opinion. Good work. ;-)
The only thing that bothers me is the fact that the photo isn't bright. I know the website is very dark but still I wouldn't make it so dark.. loses alot of the details in my opinion. And i agree with amarino about the 100% width ;-)
UX things: all the coloured words look like links... if they're not links, maybe that should change. Also, the icons in the top-right menu desperately need descriptions, at least on hover... what are they? :)
Art thing: I agree that the pic is a little flat... a little contrast wouldn't hurt. ;)
Compliment thing: looks dope, and the scroll effects are very nice.
Agree with others about the 100% width image, but I personally like the subtlety of the photo itself. It fits with the general dark brand of the site and I think you need to be careful that more contrast makes it distracting.
Just my thoughts anyway, but as far as testing goes - all works perfectly fine for me (I'm in Safari 6.0.2) and the colour-scheme is just beautiful.
I really like it, super nice! One bug in Chrome on Mac, there is a horizontal scrollbar thats probably not suposed to be there. Other then thats its perfect!
Looks good man - as for that header image, the structure is kinda weird (using CSS background and a massive image). I'd suggest doing something like this instead - will remove those scrollbars and if the viewport viewing your site is wider than 2000px, your image will enlarge to fill the space horizontally.
Tested this in the code inspector on your site and it works perfectly.

I love how the things pop up when you scroll!
