This is crazy but I am incredibly excited to announce the second launch of the month, this time for Pixa app, the best image organiser for OS X!
In all honesty I can say I cannot live without this app on my day-to-day work flow, it's just perfect for storing Dribbble shots and for organising your own work using live folders and native support of SVGs, PSDs, AIs and animated GIFs, all in Retina goodness!
✓ Get the app! It's 15% cheaper for a short amount of time,
✓ Get the trial, you won't regret it!
✓ Follow the designer and the developers and the app.
Give us constructive feedback here or on Twitter. Which features / services are missing, what would you like to see different? Also visit the website and check the video.
Thanks a lot and I hope you find it useful. I can't wait to see more collaborations from designers and developers here on Dribbble!

WoW!! Cool! @Fabio Basile
You are on a roll Mr!
Congratulations! I've worked with it over the last couple of months and I really like it.
Congrats! This app looks very useful, and the design is beautiful.
Congrats duder, looking good. Nice library btw ;)
Best trailer music ever.
Great job :)
Congratulations Fabio. What a great looking app, site and intro video. So buying this when I get paid!
Absolutely loving this and everything is so well executed! Launching the app store right now ;)
looks great +10 dude ;)
Amazing work. You are awesome.
This is awesome, as soon as I get paid.. so do you.
Amazing! I'm you fan! Hope it works better then...analogs) Thx!
And little feature request: drag&drop to menu icon for add shot. Really helpful for fullscreen browsing.
This looks great, though, I feel the dark UI is a little flat in areas and could have done with a bit more gradient love.
Still, great product.
Been using it since the beta. Loving it!
@Fabio Basile great app! You have plans for Google Drive??
Thank you!! You have all been super kind! Amazing response!
@Daryl Ginn I'll definitely look into that, we tried with some darker / glossier elements and it looked a bit too heavy, where instead we wanted a cleaner interface so you could easily interact with your files without getting distracted.
@John Ashenden thank you, unfortunately Google Drive doesn't support OS X extended attributes so you would lose all your tags and notes associated to the image :/
@Fabio Basile blergh. I'm using the app now, and let me throw a use-case at you that you may find worth exploring...I have a ton of nested folders scattered between Google Drive and Dropbox. Most of them are centered around Projects. It would be great if I could create a new project in the "Projects" section of Pixa, and then place these live folders within this top-level folder. Pixa would still treat them the same way as it does current Live folders, however, it would give an added level of organization.
@Fabio Basile in short, I'm looking to find a way to ensure new images that added or images that are removed from live folders are reflected in a "Pixa Project" without having to drag-and-drop between my live folder and the "Pixa Project".
@John Ashenden you could certainly do that with either a Live folder or a Dropbox folder (Pixa does both pretty well). So if you drag or create an image in that folder Pixa will pick it up immediately. These folders though are not part of the Projects section mostly to keep it less confusing. :)
I've been looking at for an alternative to Bridge, Ill give this a try. It looks great!
Nice! Gonna try it ;)
Love it! The only feature I see missing is the ability to take a screenshot of the entire web page.
Beautiful work, Fabio! Congratz on the launch too. :)
