Some pages/posts on my blog will have large full bleed cover photos that I will specify in the post. I didn't want to have the same big avatar / "Hi I'm Paul..." copy right in the middle of the image, so I went with a more minimal docking of it on the bottom.
The screenshot shown is when the user hovers over it and it slides up to show "designer & developer". By default it will just show my name. Or something like that.
I'm also experimenting with a full icon-only nav, inspired by @Kerem Suer's blog. thoughts?
