This is the Facebook Application I am working on. That's also a personal project, to spend my spare time.
This is the first try, that's why some functions are not yet designed. So, don't need to talk about, I will design them later.
Sure, this is the profile screen, but I designed the 'Home' link as the active state just to show you how it could look.
Check out the Attachment to see the entire design!
Awesome photography by Tristan Cardew.

Très beau. Fine work sir.
@Ramy Majouji Thanks!
@Ricardo Salazar Thanks!
This is very cool mate! :-) @Alexandre Naud
@Tobia Crivellari ™ Thanks a lot, mate.
That notification is sharp. Love it. :)
Good stuff @Alexandre Naud ! I think some nice tiny icons could make the 4 buttons (status, photo, place etc.) a little more exciting and could make it easier for the user to quickly see the difference between the button based on visuals rather than text only. Perhaps some Sweet16s :)?
@Suthan S Thanks!
@Yummygum Thanks, my friend. You're right, I will add some custom tiny icons. Or you can send me them as a Christmas gift in advance. Ehe
@Avinash Tripathi Thanks!
nice @Alexandre Naud +10 ;)
@Mani Thanks a lot.
Awesome... Facebook really needs a cool and neat design like yours
@Dinael Oropeza Thank you so much.
Looks cool, but the hinting on the 8 makes it look uncentered. Maybe a different size font or 1px wider badge?
I really like this design and I think Metalab will hire you soon.
Thinking about the badge, I wonder why you don't really see that in Mac UIs? The only time I see that style of badge is on the icons in the dock or app switcher. Is that something you've looked into or seen before? I think I'm used to seeing notifications like that inline. I'm definitely not opposed to something like that, just thinking out loud…
@Trevor Gerzen Thanks a lot, mate. By the way, that's a personal project and so I try some funny and unusual things. But, you're right dude!
@Alex Thanks mate!
Regarding the 'share' box, it might be worth exploring simplifying it even more than to just icons. Maybe making it function more like the share box on Facebook currently? You could try reducing it to just a toggle between text field and new photo before the user interacts with it, and then adding the appropriate buttons (check-in, tag people, etc) after a user clicks into it?
Looks really cool, but feels more like web than native app
keyboard shortcuts: ← previous shot → next shot L or F like
