    I was designing a new site for an airline a while back. Just as we finished the first round of the home page design, the airline was bought, the company merged into another and the project thereby permanently shelved.

    It was going to be a responsive design with a sticky navigation and all the other buzzwords. Shame we couldn't see this one through, I think it was a promising start.

    Attached are three versions of the home page, the only difference being the main image. The one with Park Güell in Barcelona is my favourite - see here

    I worked on this with my good friends from Iceland at www.takktakk.is

    This looks awesome, dude. Very inspiring! A shame its shelved, I'd love to see it live and responsive!

    I like the overall layout, however I can't help but think that the header looks quite breathless. A bit of extra vertical space or a different structure there would help. :)

    Great work! Just one minor thing ...

    The arrows on the depart date and arrive date icons don't quite make sense (ie. they are pointing in the same direction). Perhaps flip the return date icon arrow.

    Another option might be to use a plane taking off and another landing.

    @Daniel Banik I'm not really developing this further since the project was shut down but that's a very valid point - thanks!

    @Zamfir Mihnea The font is Neo Sans Std (you can grab it here http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/mti/neo-sans/) - it has a nice quality but I only chose it because it was their corporate font.

    @Eduardo Santos Yes, there are a number of unresolved issues here, the header is definitely one of them. But I guess those will need to be unresolved forever since the project isn't moving forward :)

    @colorjunkie Yes, very much inspired by the new Microsoft layout. The quick links line even to the point of it being stolen ;) If I had worked on this more I would have moved away from that a little bit though. It's funny how fast things change, I can't imagine looking to Microsoft for design inspiration a few years ago!

    @Tom Brennessl @Gijs Rogé @Emrah Demirag @Mani @Rodrigo Grundig @Marin Sotirov @Asif Aleem - thanks!
