Yeah we passed it, but that doesn't mean it's going to be a picnic implementing. The DEA has already stated that it violates the Controlled Substances Act and remains a Federal offense. The jury is still out on whether or not they'll enforce it.
People in other states started rejoicing like all of a sudden you could go to a Walgreens and buy weed. Not the case. There's still a long way to go.
With this being Obama's second term he might go all out and decide he's going to raid every place in both states trying to enact this state law. He's already raided Oaksterdam when he said he wouldn't. With the notion that he doesn't need to be popular for voters anymore he might unleash hell and squash these attempts at weakening the federal government's control. So many people think Obama is so fucking great, but the guy is the biggest wolf in sheep's clothing and he's here to push the agenda of his bosses.
