Also be sure to check @andy stewart's fantastic work in the android version, which is what inspired this one: http://dribbble.com/shots/846728-Android-Mic

@Noah Levin - This is a killer app, love it. Nice work :)
I like the minimalistic approach!
Great stuff! One question: Did you consider including the option to swipe up on the mic glyph to call up Voice Search (mirroring the functionality of Now on Android)? If so, what was the reasoning for not including it?
I sat there and just kept playing with that red button. The UI is so clean and reminds me why google started in the first place. It truly represents Google in so many good ways. Awesome design. Awesome development. And thank you!
Just used this. Blows Siri out of the water. Sick design too dude! Love your stuff.
Thanks for the kind words everyone! Also be sure to let me know what you don't like in the app so we can make it better ;-)
@Luke Bornheimer avoided it since this is just google voice search, not google now (predictive cards). plus since it's not an OS level gesture, swipe up doesn't have any obvious advantages over tapping the icon, nor is it discoverable.
Absolutely LOVE the experience of this app Noah! Seriously awesome!
Love this app so much, the design and function is beautiful. Massive fan of your work!
I really, really like it.
It's so great!
