@Shannon Hatch No, my monitor is fine. Just wondering why you would put an 80% red on top of a 30% red to show off some logos. Like...honestly...I cannot figure this out. Is it a meme on dribbble that I'm not aware of or some hipster thing or what. I'm not being sarcastic. Please do explain this to me.

Ok, my apologies. I guess it says to me that a logo should have no boundries with colour in the development stage.
Red on red, green on green, blue on blue, black on white, whatever. Colour should not determine the choice of a design at the current stage.
These colours actually have no part in the final brand, influenced from infographics not hipster in any form. Discussion should be based around form and not additions like colour until the question or point of design is to work out colouring etc. That is my reasoning anyway... others might think they are hipster haha
Ahhhhhhhh, thanks much for explaining at such length and clearing up my confusion. I guess I've always done logo mockups with black on white / white on black for the most clarity before considering color.

Top right concept is the boldest one, but center bottom one is pretty good too. Oh, and bottom left and bottom right too…

Top right and middle left are my favs (although middle left reads as a really cool place to live more than anything else)

Thanks as well. It was more about the wonderful work being easier to look at in the development stage.
