Just a simple icon I created for a recent client project. We didnt really want it overly complicated as it needed to be seen well at small sizes.
Comments and feedback ALWAYS welcome. Please be honest and dont hold back...never stop learning!!
Thanks for looking.

I love it, nice and simple and does the job.
It would be good to see the main 'hint' text in 3D rather than hovering over? Just a thought.
Thanks Alan...yeah, I did have a look at that, and have given it a little 3D-ish-ness, but maybe it could do with more?
simple and neat .. i like it like that !
@Mike Beecham It looks great as is, I would just like to see a version with the 'hint' text all 3D like and connected to the BG, maybe hard to explain lol.
Nice, not quite sure of the super inner shadow on the rounded square.
I like the initial idea, but the inner shadow / bevel is a bit weird, definitely not corresponding with the bottom one.
The kerning between letters H a i could be more closer to avoid the small chink.
Keep on polishing! :)
Thanks for the comments guys...all very good. The project is already going live I think, but might mess with it again and see how it could be improved.
You guys are great, thanks!
I'd like to see the H join onto the i completely. :)
Cool simplicity of that! Looks nice:)
Looks nice Mike. Might be nice to see some different explorations based on the feedback above. Nice work!
simple and clear!
Pacificooo !! :D
This is a great design! Very simple and can certainly be seen in a small screen. Would you be able to add a bit more "3D" on the word "Hint" but not too much, we wouldn't want it to be super embossed haha :D
i really like this! awesome work. contrasting colors, very simple and pretty!
Thanks @Nicole Tay
But don't forget tune letter connections on hand drawn (and not only) fonts in huge sizes!

@BEΔSTY DESIGN Hi Beasty. Thanks for the love, unfortunately, it was a client project so wouldn't be appropriate for me to share their artwork.
no worry i can do it, it was just to see our commun way to work ;)
thanks a lot !
Looks good. The only thing I'd love to see is the tail on the H extend all the way into the i.
