Been working on a quick logotype concept for uthemes.
Made during a short 1st time conversation with the client over Skype this afternoon.
The U stands for 'universal'. my idea was to convey this aspect in a bold, strong and simple logo aspect by placing the letter U reversed in a circle (globe).

nice gert. the 't' is great.
Oh wow! It looks awesome.
"Cuthemes." Probably letter U should be thinner.
@Anton taking into account the perspective of this shot, I think the circle looks extremely expanded in here. The normal frontal view, which I will probably post later, looks quite decent though... But I will look closer and make refinements if needed.
Personally, I don't see a "C" at all. I think it's awesome.
Yeah - I don't see it as a "C" either. Looks good, but I have to admit that I did not read it as "U-Themes" either. At first I was thinking it was some kind of a Greek mythological figure. :-) Still - the type looks really nice!
@Gert van Duinen love this mate!
Looks fantastic. I actually saw a bomberman character head instead of the 'u' lol. Well its early morning =__=
nice & heavy
nice idea of showing the concept on a textured paper!
I love seeing the process of type like this and the spacing and all that jazz. So cool.
Intrinsic and substantial!
my phone doodles look nothing like this!
Nice work Gert.
Really cool !
Gorgeous. Printing logo on a textured paper gives it a nice touch.

Are the gutters part of the design @Gert?
@Patrick Rogan Nope, I don't think that would make the logo more legit xD
