I first discovered Tintin in my local dusty library when I was 10 or so and it was pretty much love at first sight. After reading one, I quickly discovered there was a whole series that I had to get my grubby hands on. The Blue Lotus was that first book that introduced me to Herge & his world. It's also the most visually striking cover in my opinion.
I love Tintin! My grandmother in India would buy my brother and I Tintin comics whenever we'd visit her as children. I have the whole collection. (:
So, even though I have a soft spot for anything Tintin related, I think you did a great job with this illustration.
