I think those text blocks next to screenshots are little to small - especially when compared to titles. Just a thought.

P.S. I mean the font size.

    Hey Dan,

Do you have someone who works out the UX for you, or do you take everything from concept through interaction design to the final visuals?

@Joseph Grillo hey man, i do all the UX myself. every designer should be UX guy. with that said, i do it all from start to finish. i pretty never wireframe anything. i just start jamming in PS.

@Dann Petty That's interesting you go straight into PS, and skip wireframing, have you ever ran into any problems in your creative process doing this ? What about in relation to working with clients, or developers?

@Robert Williams I have to admit, I do the same thing. I find it really hard to seriously understand the final product unless I mess around with photoshop a bit. There are so many details which you cannot see in a wireframe, but are extremely important once you really get into the pixels. I think a lot of people are held up on the wireframe phase because they have to communicate ideas with a team under tight deadlines and dont have the luxury of really feeling out a design.

@Robert Williams @Joseph Grillo exactly. wireframes just hold you up. you gotta get to PS quicker and start making happy mistakes quicker. anything can look good sketched out or in boxes but you never know for sure until it's on screen, best is to start that way. i haven't seen a wireframe in a few years too be honest.

@Dann Petty I agree man.... wireframes hold up your thoughts if done too long...I trust my PS as well after initial quick sketching...

The noise is a bit too strong for my tastes, and not sure how intentional it was for it to bleed through on some of the screen shots... but outside of some small details, this looks pretty good!

If only Chartio actually implemented these designs. The current dashboard is horrendous, one of the worst interfaces I have seen on a modern business tool.
