I like the template on this. Any plans to release a version with more color in the tiles and icons?

No the entire strategy of the this concept and design was reduce the ui to close to nothing as possible where the elements float on a subtile horizontal plane. The color and interestingness comes from the content. I've since left Evernote so we'll have to see what the team does with it next!
