Really liked @Piotr Kwiatkowski's circular progress bar idea, so I thought I'd add my own twist to it. Despite the obvious changes in style, I implemented two circular bars; as the glyphs (hopefully) suggest, the upper one displays the song's progress, while the lower one represents the current volume. I only care about the volume when I want to change it. Feels like it's there just for the sake of being there now, and since it's so similar to the progress bar it could get confusing. But it's pretty damn cool, I give you that ;)
@Oskar Smith Thanks for your comment, and yes, that's quite a good point indeed! Must admit I didn't pay all that much attention to the UX when designing this. Well, how about the widget's bottom is normally equipped with title+artist info, and the volume bar only appears upon hitting a volume button on your keyboard? :)
