   @RaitG pentel brush pen, messed with the livetrace options in illustrator. more "money" pen script to rebound soon.

   @Dan Lehman I actually got lucky with this dry texture at this scale...the bigger it gets, it increases its live-traced appearance ten-fold. I'll be playing with some of these in PS as well, but I'm starting to realize you can get the best results from tinkering with sliders

   for sure, I usually do very low numbers on the 3 right-hand sliders in live trace controls, but of course your render time can get out of control when you push it to the max :-/
