Looks nice! It would be cool to have 4 different types of round flowers making up the image : ) Right now it doesn't feel like a mosaic cause it is all the same image.
Looks pretty good. I think the joinery on the corners looks like an indent, rather than a cut. I like that you made the grain go in different directions. Also the lighting on the inside faces of the wood looks slightly off to me.
Yeah, the corner cuts need improvement. Thinner, darker, and smaller with perspective, with no highlights in them at all. There's a strange circular shadow under the photos at the bottom. Overall, great job making things crisp, vibrant, and clean. Oh, and, also, the inner shadow at the bottom is way too yellow, it should be reddish. Can't wait to see the final, lovely work :)
Very nice work, although I'm also not all that convinced about the inside cut of the frame though. Perhaps change the viewing angle from being completely centered to something slightly above center, which will make the top cut a little thinner and the bottom one a little thicker, giving the viewer more sense of perspective.

Icon for an app that creates mosaic of pictures.
It's still a work in progress; any suggestions will be appreciated.

Agree with Jed. Or at least displace the images more: the subtle position shift will be absolutely invisible at real icon size.

@Asher lovely icon Asher. Really like the wooden texture. Colours are spot on too! :)

It's cool to see the comments. I'm about to try and do something similar to your frame for an icon, and I'm picking up some good tips.
