Rdio Album Hover / Wish

I love music. I love rdio. When I'm not writing, playing, or recording music, I'm listening to it. Inspiration runs deep.

I am also a music nerd. I love the genealogy of music - who has played with who, on what label(s) have they recorded, etc. I love to chase the rabbit down the hole. It's through this serendipity that I often find new music I might not otherwise know about.

As it stands, rdio makes this serendipity process a little tougher than I'd like. The only way to get to a record label's roster/release page is by first clicking on an album to go to the detail page and then clicking on the label's name/link. You can't search by record label (why not?) so the only way for me to get to, say, Kranky's release page is by first remembering an artist that's released on their label, searching for them, clicking on an album by them, and then (as I state above), clicking on the label's name. This is made even harder if an artist I search for has multiple albums spread across multiple record labels...you get the picture, lots of clicking.

This is a super rough wish of mine - to be able to have the release date/record label information surfaced on a hover of the album. This way, no matter where I am in rdio I can quickly go to a record label's page and discover other albums.
