This is the icon for Mixel app. However this one was not used, the client decided to choose another concept.
However why not to share this version :)
The full version of the icon is in the attachment.

For this composition, I think the pink part is too light. Also, imho a bit too thin highlight on the bottom of the 'M' and too sharp drop shadow :)
Edit: Ah, the scaling.
This is beautiful. Such a shame the didn't use it :(
Here is what our guys designed for Mixel app by Khoi Vinh.
This icon used on the AppStore now.
Don’t forget to take a look at @2x version and leave your best feedbacks on the AppStore.

This one much better :)
@jonathan olsen right, 2:1, in this thread :)
Both icons are stunning... I think @Ramotion has one better suited for the app. Not sure the candy gloss/glass goes well a photo app. I could definitely see assets of this icon being reused somewhere else though.
Great work @Artua
@Artua its cool & winner to me.. the other is nice but with the same boring web.2 gradient & old wooden box. No comparison. i like this one for its uniqueness & looks.
What else you need for a app icon in crowd. :)
Your icon is more suitable in the context of application features and more sweet :)
Nice! I also offered them a design way back and it got rejected. :)
This one the best)
This is absolutely stunning.
I would also go for this one. more unique and looks great. The other one ist so standard glossy bookshelf stuff. pretty boring and not creative.
i like this concept the most, if i was the client,i would've taken this one home.
but clients would be clients.. right? ... :P
