Logo proposal for a classy children photographer from Seattle, USA. Firefly itself has a certain 'handmade' feel to it to make it all warm and soft. Slight hint of the letter S inserted in the wing shape as well.

damn, this is cool
@Dan Gretta thank you Dan, I appreciate it! Means more coming from someone who has a totally different style, to put it that way.
Love the feel you've got going on here Alen! Very organic, yet, high end. Very solid sir.
This has a really elegant feel to it! Great job.
The way you've stylised the firefly with thick and thin lines gave it the kind of finesse it needs for a children's photographer. The rest of the composition looks spot on and that subtle S...mate you've outdone yaself.
@Alen Type08 Pavlovic - Love it. Fits your client perfectly.
I didn't understand the shapes around the tail indicating a glow right away. Looked a little beehivey to me at first. Maybe some radiating lines would read better?
@Norman Chan thanks buddy, means a lot! I'm still preparing that play-off theme for us, don't you think that I forgot about that ;)
@Alan Oronoz @Jared Granger @Kristian Hay thanks mates, I appreciate it!
@Simon™ thank you Simon! Client had the same question and here's how I explain that part: light around a but has soft handmade lines to follow the style of the rest of the firefly. Those 'light waves', to call them that way, can be found at a lot of 'baby-themed' elements, such as pillows, shirts, dresses, soothers, etc. Lines are definitely an option to but I find it a bit 'different' this way.
Man this is really cool! Kudos!
Java and Jovan, thanks a bunch peeps, glad yah like it!
@Alen Type08 Pavlovic Haha, no problem bud! But please don't start in the next 2 weeks or so. Its my turn being swamped. But if its vengeance you're after, then bring it on Mr Pav ;^)
Beautiful work with this one. Everything about it is so well thought out – concept, style, composition, typefaces.. the soft colour tones are really good too.
@Norman Chan I can wait for you, no probs! It's hectic over here to but I already got some ideas so be on a lookout buddy! ;)
@Claire Coullon thanks a lot Claire! I can proudly confirm that client approved this solution. They really liked the entire lockup and they told me that website is coming up soon, so you'll be able to check some of those really adorable pictures/photos that truly inspired me :)
